  1. Loved the story calling out the Rosebud Tribe, wish you would do a story on the Yankton Sioux, I am not of native blood but my children are and it kills me to see members taking advantage of their own tribe and telling the children they can not have school clothes money and the like yet they can all get pay advances and everything else.

    • Greetings, Mr. HolyEagle,

As a white man that has lived on this Earth for 54 years now and as a born citizen of the United States. I find myself truly ashamed at the way the first American’s have been treated virtually from the first moment that Europeans set foot on this continent. Everything from genocide through the use of blankets infected with a myriad of diseases given as “gifts” to your peoples up through and including the heartless massacre of women and children at Wounded Knee. And let’s not forget if true history is to be known it was actually the Europeans that introduced scalping to the America’s not Native American’s. I am not saying that I as an individual can atone for the actions of the first white’s to hit these shore’s, however I feel that if there were anything I could do to stand at your side in this situation, I would however I currently am fighting a battle with the government myself as a veteran with disabilities. My ex-wife and two young adult children are part Cherokee & Wacamaw nation. I have nothing but respect for you and at least in spirit support your position & your fight.

      Aho-And blessings to you sir
      and your people.

    • You are so right. As a white woman I would be proud to stand with your tribe for your rights and know many others who feel the same. Keep us informed on Facebook if you are persecuted by police or government

  3. Here is a link to create a petition on the White House web page.
Someone wiser than I can follow the link and create an account with an e-mail address and write a petition. With enough signatures, the petition is reviewed by “the administration.” The implication being the oval office..? Ya never know.
I just saw Mr. Obama object to the pipeline on Democracy Now… Maybe we can get his attention.. You never know unless you ask.
I can always be reached at

    stefnaad@yahoo.com

    the link..

Good luck. Stay safe. Eyes open.
    Thank you for your time.
